  • How do you determine the level/placement of the dancer?
We use the FREE trial class to determine the placement of all dancers. Our school is divided into sections that are based on age: 1) Pre-School (Ages 2-5) 2) Lower School (Ages 6-9) 3) Middle & Upper School (Ages 10-17) This allows students to take level and age-appropriate classes. You then decide what division of the school you are in based on the number of classes taken a week. Divisions: 1) Club (1-2 Classes per week) 2) Academy (3-6 Classes per week) 3) Pre-Professional (5-9 Classes per week)
  • How do I pay my fees?
Fees can be conviently paid online through your dance studio account. Tuition payments are always due on the 1st of the month. Your fees can be paid paid via credit card, cash or direct bank transfer. We request 30 days notice for cancellations. The cancellation fee is equal to one months tuition.
  • What happens if I move away or withdraw?
If you move away from the area and our studio can no longer reasonably be accessed by you, you will have to pay a cancellation fee for one month's installment. Example: Tuition is $75.00; a cancellation fee will be charged in the amount of $75.00. Cancellations notices must be sent via our online withdrawal FORM.
  • What if my child or I am injured and cannot attend classes?
Unfortunately term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn.
  • What additional benefits can I expect as a member?
As a member of our studio, you are eligible for a discount at the local Dancewear store Artistics. In addtional you will have access to coaching sessions with our Director/Teachers to ensure we have created a unique track for you/your dancer.
  • What is the cancellation policy should I need to cancel?
We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Complete a Withdrawal FORM to cancel your membership. The fee to cancel is equivalent to 1 installment. Please allow 30 days for your request to be processed.
  • Can I pay for drop-in classes?
We do not offer drop-in classes for our Academy or Pre-Professional Classes. However, Adults and children enrolled in our Recreational program can drop in for $35.00 per class.
  • What do my membership fees cover?
Membership is All-Inclusive. We have created a package that includes tuition, costumes, leotards, dancer headshots, and at least 1 ticket to the annual concert.
  • Are parents allowed to observe classes?
Obviously a parent’s love and support is imperative in a child’s development and we also know that our parents want to participate in and see all the fun. However, during our regular dance classes, parents are not allowed to observe classes. Below are the reasons we do not allow parents to observe classes: 1) Dancers love the attention of mom and dad! They want to please their parents and often become more focused on mom/dad than the teacher. 2) It is important that young children have time apart from their family just like they do in school. It teaches autonomy and fosters a sense of personal confidence when children can do things without mom or dad. 3) Parents get excited about dance class and that excitement can lead to extra talking and noise during the youth dance class or dance camp that can be a distraction to the quality and progression of class. 4) We get it...parents want to help and we love that! But during class time, the focus should be on allowing the teacher to lead the structure and progression of the dancers.
